1 hours ago After doing that a couple times I was about to give up. What I found was that Word's Trust Settings were blocking documents created prior to 2007. The QuickBooks templates were copyrighted in 1998 and 1999. On an unsophisticated hunch, I unblocked back to 1998 and all the templates in QuickBooks now open and can be edited. Thanks.
