5. Create a fresh, new catalog, and try importing the trouble catalog into it.
6. If it does not work, do the same but import the trouble catalog in smaller pieces into it.
7. If it does not work, you could email your catalog (just the *.lrcat file, it zips quite well), and I can try just vacuuming it with SQLite.
8. Final Projects Use an external hard drive network drive to move images you are done with and no longer need immediate access to.
9. Delete Images Seems simple, but this is one factor that many photographers forget to do.
10. Delete Smart Previews While smart previews may be smaller in size they can take up a lot of space.
11. Step One: Go to Lightroom > Catalog Settings > General (under Edit menu on Windows).
12. Step Two. : Click the Show button on the General tab of the Catalog Settings to open the folder containing your catalog in your file browser.
13. Step Three. : Quit Lightroom.
